Thursday

Fashion Babble - Holiday Wish list River Island.

Hay Loves

SUMMER is here. We all know what that means essential summer holiday shopping has to be done.

Now actually I am a mighty believer in using what you already have. So this post is more about adding to what you already have rather than going out and spending £X on a new case full of cloths that your only going to wear for 2 weeks of the year.

I have loads of bikinis but now instead of buying 50 from Primark I buy one really nice one which I know will last me more than one trip. However this only works if your not going on a 18+,. Booz one your £30 bikini ant going to put you into the party mode or is that just me.

Shorts. I am reaching that point in by life were the low wast just isnt comfy. I love these because they are classic and simple can be down for the beach or classy for the bar depending on your mood.

Nice pop of colour for the sun and again beach or bar!

Now Maxis are amazing for holiday and this is would look great at the local pub or out for a nice fancy meal. Plus as its not floor length your less likely to trip!

After the cloths comes the bling...these are all defo extras for me!

I love this case but its £60 :( you would look high class with it at the airport but I would be devastated if it came back marked.

To me Primark/New Look have defo got style and price perfect this season but if your looking to splash out these are so cute.

Now I have to say River Island Sunglasses are the bomb. I have had mines for 2 years now and they are still going strong.

I love the aviators, £10 is actually a steal for these.

When it comes to jewls leave your MK or Stobos at home and go cheap. If it gets lost or goes walkie s (happened to me) you wont be crying into your cocktails before the sunsets. Get my drift. And when I say cheap I don't
mean nasty, the above comes in at £5 and look so cute.

Thanks for for reading don't forget to give a follow on bloglovin' to see more.

All can be found at River Island HERE and they ship to many places other than he UK too!

Rihanna collection at River Island

Hay Lovely's

I have been anticipating the Rihanna collection for River Island for some time, as she might not be my top 5 celebrates but she does have a good fashion sense. I was disappointed when I was too sleepy to wait to see the collection online. So when I was in town I took a wee look at the cloths they had in the local River Island.

To me the collection is very casual chic, which is very close to Rihanna's style. The only thing I was a little disappointed in that their wasnt more colour, as summers is just around the corner and I did expect some of her home style to be included, as she does have a great beach style but it was very much on the Black/White trend this seasons showing. Here are some of my picks from the collection.

£20 which I purchased today!

£95

£45

£40 (sold out)

All these can be found on the River Island website and in selected stores nation wide. Have you lovely's checked out the collection yet? What are your fav pieces? Please leave comments below :)

My Style: Spring 2013

Hiya Lovely's

It might be deep into winter now but with only a month till March, I have decided that winter is over and Spring is a coming! I thought I would share some of my essential spring items.

1. Handbag updates: Ditch your handy black bag from winter and up date it with some nice candy colour's. River Island have some great little numbers in store now and I have managed to bag (thanks to my BF) this little cream number.

2. Jackets: In sunny Scotland a winter coat is essential nearly all year round but for spring I have chosen the two textured jackets, especially the ones with the leather selves  I picked up this little number from Misguided.

3. Trend: I dont follow to many trends but I am liking the fact that lace is "in" again this spring.  I have seen this great little number which is like a black & white dress I got for Christmas from Forever21.

4. Make up: Fresh faced for spring would defo me my look. Natural is always best in spring as its the time of new beginnings so my Naked pallets will be getting used more and more this spring.

5. Shoes: Go bye winter boots see you again soon. I am defo a ballet flat girl so I will be splashing my cash here. I have seen these cute little ones from Forever21 which remind be of Chanel. so cute right?

Omg Just notice my main style for Spring 2013 will be nice light colour's like cream evident from all the products I have just pulled here. :-) lol What will be your style this spring 2013? Please leave me comments below.

Trans-fashion: Outfit 3 Animal prints!

Hay Lovely's

My last little trans-fashion from summer to fall includes: Animal prints! Animal printers were everywhere this summer (I loved it!) and they will continue for fall. The scary thing about animal print is that if you do too much you will look cheap rather than chic! Here are some of my favorite ways to use animal prints: Leopard print!

1. Accessories!

A simple and quickly way to animal print, and if you don't over do it you wont look cheap! Some classic accessories include scarfs, shoes and of course our handbag. But an even simpler way can be through jewelry: earrings, bangles and even watched can add a simple twist to this print for the winter!

River Island set £12

River Island Scarf: £12

2.  Dress, and Blazers! (not together!)

The simplest way would be to wear the print! If your brave then go full out and a dress is the perfect way, but if your going to make sure your accessories are simple, black is always a great way to dull down an outfit or if your on a night out try gold! If your looking for leopard on top the  try pairing your animal print with something simple: some plan leggings, black jeans or a simple black skirt. If your pairing the print on the bottom, you guessed it the top should be as simple as possible: Black, white or leather (if your feeling a bit edger!)

River Island dress £20

New Look £27.99

3. Nail art!

OK last fashion is expression and you can express yourself through your nails...they are the one thing everyone sees right? So if your not wanting to invest in something so preeminent to your collection like an accessory or piece of clothing then why not try nail wraps!

Models Own £7.00

Fashion Lust List: JULY

Hay lovely's

Sorry I have not posted in a while but I have been a wee bit wondery lately and not really had any ideas about what to post about (write seems like a strange word to use here...because am not a writer!) Ok back on topic, but I have been watching some YTV's and got some ideas so here's a wee blog about this months fashion lust list from me. What's on your July fashion lust list?

Take care everyone xx
